Instagram

Product Marketing Manager, Latin America | Mexico City, June 2018—Present

  • Act as Mexico’s sole Instagram specialist—driving product adoption/growth in-market with advertisers via c-level meetings, client events and large-scale speaking engagements

  • Partner with internal teams to support Instagram’s growth in Mexico, Pan-Latam & Colombia by educating sales teams, developing marketing materials, hosting training sessions and collaborating with global business marketing/PR to pitch business stories

  • Collaborate with Instagram Global team to provide input from a LATAM perspective, partner on developing growth strategies, deliver product market-fit information & recruit for alpha/beta testing.


Pinterest

Pin Collective Lead, Global | New York City, November 2016—Jan 2018

  • Independently built Pinterest’s first custom content arm—a network of hand-picked creators, influencers, production shops & publishers to build bespoke Pinterest advertising campaigns for brands

  • Concepted, sourced global talent, pitched/sold ideas & followed through to final deliverables, acting as creative partner throughout process for clients in North America & EMEA

  • Shipped campaigns for brands including Old Spice, Target, Adidas, Dunkin Donuts, Hewlett Packard & Clorox.

Creative Strategist, North America | New York City, June 2018—Present

  • Partnered with in-house creative teams & agencies to develop creative advertising campaigns on Pinterest

  • Developed Pinterest’s POV on creative best-practices/art direction of Pins and scaled via speaking engagements, conferences & agency all-hands

  • Exercised my ‘Creative whisperer’ muscle by getting to know in-house teams, building trust and in-turn, gaining the invitation to collaborate and even drive concepts as a thought-partner.


Banana Republic

Global Social Media Lead | New York City & San Francisco, June 2018—Present

  • Built Banana Republic’s global social media program from scratch. Created, evolved (and protected) the brand’s voice/visual tone with contextual/cultural relevance top-of-mind. Owned brand’s social strategy; both paid & organic.

  • Created a robust influencer strategy inclusive of everything from micro-influencers to source UGC all the way to A-level celebrities, media partners & traditional fashion bloggers

  • Developed all social content in-house. Independently lead creative concepts & strategy for organic/paid. Drove art direction under the brand Creative Director’s vision

  • Acted as ‘advertising guinea pig’ for Instagram & Pinterest, rolling out the first ad offerings from both platforms & testing new products. Featured in numerous publications for best-in-class strategies & campaigns (AdAge, AdWeek, Forbes)
